Hainan Cassava Science and Technology Backyard (STB) was jointly founded  by the Tropical Crops Genetic Resource Institute and China Agricultural University in March 2015. The STB objective is to understand the current situation of fertilization on the energy crops,cassava, identify the existing problems in cassava fertilization, and put forward the improvement proposal.The main work of the STB is based on Tropical Crops Genetic Resource  Institute in Hainan Province, and will influence the tropical zone, focusing on the investigation of the present situation of cassava fertilization. The core issue is to understand the fertilization amount, ratio,timing and method and so on in the main production areas of cassava.
